3 1 Statistical presentation
3.1 Data description Gross domestic product (GDP) weight of added value of processing industry. The ratio between the added value of the processing industry and the GDP is the ratio, and both are shown in hard currency AZN (without inflation) for 2010.

3.3 Sector coverage It is a combination of raw materials, materials and semi-finished products from industrial production and other industries, as well as industrial enterprises engaged in the processing of agriculture, forestry and other raw materials. According to the classification of economic activities, it includes food, drinks, tobacco, textile, clothing, leather and leather goods, footwear, furniture, woodworking, paper and cardboard, polygraphy, petroleum products, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, rubber and plastics, non-metallic mineral products, metallurgy, machinery and equipment, computer, electronic and optical products, and electrical equipment manufacturing.
3.4 Statistical concepts and definitions The value added of the processing industry is widely accepted by researchers and policy makers and is a widely used indicator for measuring the country's industrialization level. The specific weight of the value added of the processing industry in GDP reflects the role of the processing industry in the economy and the overall national development of the country. The added value of the processing industry per capita is a key indicator of the level of industrialization of the country that is adapted to the size of the country's economy. One of the main purposes of statistics for the value added of each of the population of the processing industry is the grouping of countries in terms of industrial development.
3.5 Statistical unit The information needed to calculate the volume of the processing industry is collected from legal entities and individual entrepreneurship entities. At the same time, the volume of industrial products manufactured by households is derived through a sample examination and is included in the overall summary of the country, and is not taken into account in the separate regions and cities. The gross domestic product is an indicator of economic growth in all sectors of the economy.
3.6 Statistical population The main industry in the calculation of the volume of industrial production is industry. During the periodic, quarterly period, information is obtained from the subjects of small and medium-sized businesses and by the method of large and small entrepreneurship.
3.7 Reference area Total aggregate value is determined by deducting intermediate consumption from production and is equivalent to the amount generated during deduction of production and import subsidies from total aggregate earnings of government and companies, aggregate mixed (from different sources) income from individual companies and other taxes (excluding net taxes on goods and services) (National Accounts System 2008). The processing industry refers to industry-specific areas of all types of economic activities that are identified in the International Standard Area Classification (BSST) version IV, Section C and III, Section D.
3.8 Time coverage The scope of the processing industry covers all the years and has a range of dynamics. The domestic product was officially calculated in 1992, covering the 1990-1991 period.

8.1 Release calendar The dissemination of information on the volume of the processing industry product is based on the IMF general standard on dissemination of information and on the approved Statistical Data and Information Disclosure Schedule. Monthly growth rate of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is settled on the 10th day of the reporting month, 45th day after the quarterly reporting period and January 15 of the following year, and is posted on the official website of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

11.1 Quality assurance

The State Statistical Committee implements the quality management system in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001. In 2013 the external audit of the quality management system was conducted in the State Statistical Committee, and in August of the same year for the first time ISO 9001:2008 international certificate of conformity was obtained in the direction of "Production and dissemination of official statistical data". After a major change of the international standard in 2015, all documents of the quality management system were redesigned in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2015. 11.2 Quality assessment

On the basis of the “Audit Program” approved annually, internal audits are carried out in the departments of the Office and in the local statistical bodies where the GIS is applied. Audit teams are formed to conduct audits and an individual audit plan is approved for each structural unit. The audit team conducts inspections in accordance with the audit plan. Internal monitoring of quality aspects in the State Statistics Committee is carried out in a centralized manner by the authorized structural unit (Quality Management and Metadata Department) and an annual “Analysis by Management” document is prepared and submitted to the management based on the results of audits. The members of the audit team (auditors) are instructed before each audit by the auditor general, as well as through seminars organized at least once a year. The activity of the State Statistics Committee is “Quality management systems. Requirements ”ISO 9001: 2015 is one of the strongest strengths. Increased workload due to incomplete transition to electronic documentation and parallel paperwork, late adaptation of staff (employees) to the requirements of the new standards are the weakest weaknesses.

18.5 Data compilation GDP data are collected and processed by the State Statistics Committee's branch offices, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Taxes, the Ministry of Finance and other administrative sources. Impressions are being made for a number of industrial enterprises, especially food products manufactured by households. Data on the production of households' processing industry are based on selective examinations, and statistical surveys are conducted once every five years. However, the qualifying data for the district and the cities are not covered by the General Assembly due to the small size of the selection of individual districts and cities, and the probability of a high level of error that may occur, which is only calculated nationally.
